LoopLogix Privacy Policy

LoopLogix ("the app") helps delivery drivers capture packages, plan routes,
and navigate stops. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and how it
is used. We do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
- Account information. If you sign in, we store your email
address and/or phone number to identify your account. You may instead use a
"device account," in which case we store only an anonymous identifier
generated by Firebase Authentication and a device identifier for support.
- Location. With your permission, we use your device's
location while you are using the app to set your trip start/end and
to optimize the delivery route. We do not collect location in the background.
- Camera. The camera is used to photograph shipping/PAL
labels and scan tracking barcodes. Label text is recognized on your
device (on-device OCR); images are used to extract the delivery address
and are not uploaded to our servers as part of normal use.
- Delivery data you enter or capture. Addresses,
tracking numbers, package descriptions, route plans, and delivery
completion times, stored under your account.
How information is used and shared
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore) stores
your account and delivery data so it is available across sessions.
- Google Maps Platform (Maps, Routes, Places) receives
addresses and coordinates to display maps, geocode addresses, suggest
address autocompletions, and compute optimized routes.
- UPS receives a tracking number (when available) through
our secure server to return package details such as commit time, weight,
and dimensions used for time estimates. This happens only when you plan a
route, not for every scan.
We share data with these providers only to deliver the app's features. We do
not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Data retention & deletion
Your delivery data remains in your account until you delete it (you can
remove packages in the app) or request account deletion. To request deletion of
your account and associated data, email us at the address below and we will
process the request.
Security
Data is stored in Google Firebase with per-user access rules, and requests to
our server require a valid signed-in session token. No method of transmission or
storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
Children
LoopLogix is intended for delivery drivers and is not directed to children
under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last
updated" date above.
