RouteBench — Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 27, 2026. Last updated: June 27, 2026.

RouteBench is a productivity toolkit for road-operations supervisors (package tracking, barcode generation, end-of-day reporting, vehicle check-in audits, and a labor-agreement reference assistant). This policy explains what data the app handles and how it is protected. The developer ("we") is the publisher listed on the app's store page; contact mbomnda@gmail.com.

Not affiliated with United Parcel Service. RouteBench is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to United Parcel Service, Inc. ("UPS"). "UPS" and other marks are the property of their respective owners and are referenced only to describe interoperability.

1. Information the app handles

2. How it is stored and where it goes

3. What we do NOT collect

We do not collect your location, contacts, calendar, microphone audio, or advertising identifiers. RouteBench contains no third-party advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Sharing

Data is shared only with the service providers needed to deliver a function you request: the carrier's package-tracking service (for tracking results) and the AI provider (for contract answers). We do not share your data with any other third party.

5. Security

All network traffic uses HTTPS; cleartext connections are disabled. Stored data is encrypted at rest on the device (OS keystore) and on the server (AES-256-GCM), and the reporting/audit data is gated by your PIN.

6. Retention

On-device history is automatically pruned to the most recent 30 days. Server-stored reporting/audit data is retained only for the short operational window needed and pruned automatically. You can clear on-device history in the app, and you may request deletion of server-stored data by contacting us.

7. Children

RouteBench is a workplace tool intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.

8. Your choices

You may decline the camera/photo permissions (the app still works via typed entry), clear your on-device history at any time, and contact us to access or delete server-stored data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change accordingly. Material changes will be reflected here.
